Changan UNI-T coupe SUVs for export

The UNI-T is Changan’s compact coupe SUV and the model that put the UNI sub-brand on the map when it launched in China in June 2020. It measures 4,535 x 1,870 x 1,565 mm on a 2,710 mm wheelbase, carries five, and folds down to 1,050 litres of load space — the combination that makes it the default dealer-showroom car across West Africa and Central Asia.

Two specifications are exported, and the difference that matters is the gearbox rather than the horsepower. The 1.5T runs a wet 7-speed dual-clutch: efficient, quick-shifting, and the cheaper car. The 2.0T runs an Aisin 8-speed torque-converter automatic, which tolerates altitude, gravel climbs and hours of crawling traffic far better. Buy the 2.0T above roughly 2,000 m or for a government tender; buy the 1.5T everywhere else.

Both ride on 20-inch alloys with 245/45 R20 tyres as standard. In markets where that tyre size is hard to source outside the capital, ask us to allocate the Elite grade on 19-inch wheels instead.
