What we actually sell

5 specifications across two bodies, all 0 km complete-built-up units from the Chongqing line: the UNI-T coupe SUV in 1.5T and 2.0T form, and the UNI-V fastback sedan in 1.5T, 2.0T and iDD plug-in hybrid form. That is a deliberately narrow catalogue. We would rather know two cars properly than list forty and answer every technical question with a brochure scan.

What we refuse to sell

Three things, consistently, and all three are widely offered elsewhere in this trade. Used or so-called zero-mileage-used units, because they cannot carry a valid factory warranty and most of the markets we serve either ban them or penalise them on duty. Converted right-hand-drive cars, because they fail inspection and void the warranty. And grey-market stock sourced outside the Changan distribution network, because the warranty and the parts supply behind it are not real.

The practical consequence is that we sometimes talk buyers out of an order. If your market is Kenya or South Africa, we will point you at the Rayong right-hand-drive allocation rather than sell you left-hand-drive stock. If your fuel is subsidised, we will talk you out of the UNI-V iDD.

How we quote

On a proforma invoice, issued the same working day your enquiry arrives. It shows FOB and CIF side by side so you can see exactly what the freight and insurance cost, names the inspection body, fixes the lead time and lists the conformity certificate your destination needs. Every technical specification stays public — dimensions, kerb weights, fuel figures, gearboxes, colours and grade equipment are all on the model pages, so you can shortlist before you contact us.

Where we are

Chongqing, which is where Changan is headquartered and where the UNI line is built. The practical advantage is that the pre-shipment inspection, the conformity certification and the loading all happen within a short drive of each other, so a problem found at inspection can be fixed rather than shipped.
