What to include in your first message
Five things. With all five we can issue a firm proforma invoice immediately; with fewer, the first reply is a question rather than a price.
- 1Model and grade — for example "UNI-V 1.5T Premium" or "UNI-T 2.0T Flagship".
- 2Quantity, and whether it is a one-off or the first lifting of a recurring order.
- 3Destination country and discharge port. This decides the conformity certificate and half the cost.
- 4Steering side. All five published specifications are LHD; RHD goes through the Rayong allocation.
- 5Preferred Incoterm — FOB, CIF, or CIP for rail to Central Asia.
